The new album came without a big bang, but that didn’t stop Devendra Banhart from delivering some of his best work as of yet. The freak folk crooner is still at it was amazing tunes. However, right now the one that stands out the most from Mala is “Mi Negrita” an acoustic ditty with a Spanish tilt. It’s a short song with a lot of punch. His vocals simper between lullaby mode and heartbreak warbling. It’s just a well-rounded low-tempo track. Also, it needs a video. Click below to listen to it.
